The 9th edition of the Iberoamerican Conference on Applications and Usability of Interactive TV was held on 18 December. The Social iTV group together with Maria Jose Abasolo Guerrero, teacher at the University of La Plata (Argentina) were the organisers of this event, in which 28 papers were presented. Due to the pandemic situation (COVID-19), the conference was held online. The Social iTV team presented 6 papers: “Television and Visual Impairment: Requirements of an Accessible Solution”; “Television as Part of Personalized Interactive Video-Based Crossmedia Informal Learning Environments”; “Crossmedia TV Based System Developed to Help Support Students During the COVID-19 Outbreak”; “SecurHome TV: a Television Ecosystem for Monitoring the Domestic Activity of Seniors”; “UX Evaluation of an iTV Natural Language Interaction System Using an Open Methodology”; and “Sharing and Visualizing Audiovisual Collective Memories – Experts Review on the Concept of a Participatory Platform”.
