SHORT DESCRIPTION
VoluntAge4Seniors intends to be a service that allows older adults to request help from a group of volunteers to support in specific tasks such as a simple household maintenance or company for a visit to the doctor. The project is divided in two phases, in which the first phase includes the development of a multimodal TV Application to older adults with voice interaction, and the second one, currently under development, aims to develop the web platform to process the requests and manage the register of volunteers. All the process includes evaluation moments with end users, and it is also planned to do a pilot test that will combine the use of the whole system with older adults and a network of volunteers.
